Corporate Aircraft, Inc. announces a Cessna 441 RVSM Solution

Corporate Aircraft, Inc. of Fresno, California announced that it has entered into an agreement with AeroMech Incorporated of Everett, Washington to provide a group RVSM approval STC for Cessna 441 aircraft.  Corporate Aircraft's RVSM solution will include Cessna 441 aircraft equipped with the Cessna 1000 Series, Collins APS-65 and Sperry SPZ-500 autopilots.

Corporate Aircraft's President, Chuck Wilson said, "It was paramount to our Conquest support efforts to provide a RVSM solution that incorporated the Cessna 1000 Series autopilot.  We've maintained and serviced this aircraft type and autopilot since 1978, and we know this equipment better than anyone does.  The autopilot will perform to the level required for RVSM compliance, and we couldn't have made the business decision to include it in the group certification without that knowledge and an extremely high level of confidence that it can be supported and maintained well into the future."

"About eighty-five percent of the remaining fleet of aircraft operates with the 1000 Series autopilot installed, and it was imperative that we provide these aircraft Owners a cost-effective solution.  Otherwise, they're faced with a total cost of RVSM compliance to include an autopilot retrofit that equates to a very large percentage of the aircraft's total value.  We felt that most Owners would view that size of financial expenditure as either extremely difficult to commit to or altogether unacceptable.  Equally as important was to be able to provide Owners of aircraft already equipped with the Collins and Sperry autopilots a competitive and cost-effective compliance alternative," said Wilson.

The Cessna 441 is certified to operate at FL350, and Owners & Operators who elect not to comply with RVSM will not be able to operate their aircraft to its full design capabilities.  The effects of non-compliance will include increased fuel costs, decreased Range and Endurance, the inability to avoid most weather systems resulting in more turbulent flights, and the diminished marketability and resale value that non-compliant aircraft are experiencing.

Corporate Aircraft's group RVSM certification completion is scheduled for November 2004 and they are now accepting fully refundable completion position deposits.

AeroMech is a preferred and/or licensed supplier of RVSM certification services and support to The Boeing Company, Bombardier Aerospace (including Learjet, Inc.), Embraer, Israel Aircraft Industries, Lockheed-Martin, Piaggio and Raytheon.  They have provided RVSM support and consultation services to over forty (40) commercial airline companies and completed in excess of one hundred (100) STCs for RVSM certification of both Group & Non-Group aircraft ranging from the Raytheon King Air B200 to the Lockheed L-1011.  Additional company information can be viewed on their web site: www.aeromechinc.com.

Corporate Aircraft's extensive sales and service knowledge of the Conquest lines, longstanding relationship with Cessna as an authorized Propjet Service Center and staff of service specialists who have maintained these types since they rolled off Cessna's production lines, have made them a premier provider of Cessna Propjet support services recognized throughout the World.  They are located at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport (KFAT), Fresno, California.
